Proper accounting and cost estimation is the key to the profitability of the organization

Within the framework of the international Forum «Systemic Transformation of Science, Education and society» for 3rd year students of the Accounting and Audit EP on April 18, 2022, a master class was held on the topic «Methods of stock assessment and determination of the cost of goods and services» by the chief accountant of «Transproektservice» LLP A.S. Kozhaeva. The choice of the inventory valuation method is relevant in the context of changes in the purchase prices of the company’s inventory. Changes in purchase prices and the presence of inventory balances at the end of the period create a problem of their evaluation.

A.S. Kozhaeva presentation material was saturated with production situations, examples and tasks for students. The students were active in discussing the business situation and asked questions about the results of the solved tasks.
