An official opening of the international university “Turan International University” in the city of Namangan

On September 3, 2022, in the city of Namangan (the Republic of Uzbekistan), a solemn ceremony of the official opening of the international university “Turan International University” was held in cooperation with the University “Turan”.

The ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Namangan region, the Rector of the University “Turan” Alshanov R.A. (Almaty city), the first Vice-Rector of the University “Turan” Tazabekov K.A., the Mayor of the Namangan city, Heads of international educational organizations, large domestic companies and government agencies, as well as professors and teachers from foreign countries.

The admission of students to the university was carried out in 11 specialties, more than 3.5 thousand applicants were admitted to the 1st course. Professors from the Republic of Korea, Great Britain and others are involved in teaching.

Professor Gulnara Zhagiparovna Nurmukhanova (Almaty city) was appointed Rector of the University, Anna Sergeevna Buzelo was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy.

The city of Namangan with a population of 1.2 million people is the second largest city in Uzbekistan after Tashkent. This is the largest metropolis of the Fergana Valley, where over 10 million citizens live.
