A guest lecture was held on the topic “10 years: The Role of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in implementing the agreed macroeconomic policy” for PhD students and master degree students of educational programs “Economics”, “Finance” and “Management”

On February 02, at 11:00 a.m., a guest lecture on the topic “10 years: The role of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in implementing a coordinated macroeconomic policy” was held for PhD students and master degree students of the educational programs “Economics”, “Finance” and “Management”, as well as for teaching staff. The lecture was presented by Askar Abdisattarovich Japparkulov, Director of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission. In the preamble of his speech, he emphasized the important role played by the EEC as a supranational governing body in the successful implementation of the Eurasian economic integration project, especially in the context of global instability.

 

During the lecture Dzhapparkulov A. A. spoke about the main directions of the coordinated macroeconomic policy pursued by the EAEU member states, explained what quantitative criteria have been established for macroeconomic indicators that determine the sustainability of economic development, within which the EAEU member states form their economic policy. The lecturer dwelled in more detail on the main guidelines of the macroeconomic policy of the Union member states for 2022-2023, as well as on specific measures and mechanisms for deepening integration processes within the framework of the EAEU Strategy – 2025. The lecture was very interesting and informative. During the discussion, young researchers got acquainted with valuable analytical materials and unique expert information.
