The republican tournament ICE SCREAM IX has ended

On December 11-12, a national debate tournament ICE SCREAM IX among young debaters was held in Almaty, organized by the Union of Elite Economists. The main purpose of the tournament is to support enthusiastic young people who have just entered the debate and evaluate their knowledge and abilities.

The tournament was attended by 72 factions from different regions of Kazakhstan, which showed a competitive game in the APF and LD formats, and the project included the stages of selection and playoffs.

The difference between this tournament and other tournaments is that it is held on the theme of Naruto. Interestingly, during the registration period, the factions of each club were divided into Naruto countries such as Water, Fire, Lightning, Wind and Earth, and opponents were determined by the selected countries.

The winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees, as well as prizes, cups and cash prize funds.

According to the results of the tournament in the nomination “Best speaker” was awarded the 1st year student of the specialty “Translation” of the University “Turan” Aiym Nurtai, recognized as the winner of the competition of the best.
