New Kazakhstan in a new world

In the city of Shymkent, on December 17-18, 2022, an open regional tournament on debates among youth was held. One in a hundred is a speaker, one in a thousand is a leader. Among today’s youth, competitions are held in various areas, they comprehensively develop their skills.

More than 10 delegations from six different regions took part in this competition, which was held in honor of the 5th anniversary of the Rhetoric intellectual debate club, established at the University of Central Asia. 80 speakers, 40 factions tried their luck. In particular, speakers from Astana, Almaty, Turkestan, Shymkent, Taraz, who mastered various formats, for two days not only discussed various topics, but also exchanged great experience with each other, expressing their disagreement with the format and regional division of the debate.

Amireev Ahanseri, a young representative of the Sirius Intellectual Debate Club, founded by Turan University, a 1st year student of the journalism faculty of our educational institution, became the winner in the nomination “Best Speaker” and the owner of the cup.
