Day of Languages of the Peoples of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On September 26, a significant holiday of the country – the Day of Languages of the Peoples of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in the assembly hall of the University “Turan”. This day was dedicated to celebrating the diversity of languages and cultures that enrich the Kazakh society. The event brought together representatives of various ethnic groups, students, as well as many guests who wanted to support and celebrate this important event.

The event was attended by more than 10 departments of the University “Turan”, such as: “Journalism and Translation”, “Psychology”, “Tourism and Service”, “Regional Studies and International Relations”, “Management”, etc. Each department of the chosen language organized mini-performances, demonstrating cultural values, and treated the audience of the hall with traditional dishes. The concert program of the event also included performances by the creative organizations “Turan’s Trumps”, “MuzLab”, “Shisai”.

By the end of the event, the students of the Department of Tourism and Service took the first place in terms of the number of points. The winners were awarded with branded products of the University “Turan”. Participants of other departments were awarded in the nominations “Best Female role”, “Best male role”, “Best production”, “Best costumes”, etc.

In conclusion, we would like to express our gratitude to the university management for their assistance and support in holding the annual Day of Languages of the Peoples of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
