Guest lecture of Yuriy Bolotov on the protection of intellectual property theme for PhD students of “Juristrudence” educational program

As a part of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (16 – Peace, justice and effective institutions), on October 11, 2023, at Turan University, the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law held a leadership lecture on the topic: “Protection of intellectual property in the Republic of Kazakhstan.” Guest lecturer – Yuriy Albertovich Bolotov, managing partner of Bolotov and Partners LLP, patent attorney with 30 years of experience, specializing in the protection of intellectual property rights, author of more than 50 articles on intellectual property law. The organizers of the guest lecture are Gulnaz Alayeva, Nonna Aldabergenova, Karlygash Dzhumabaeva. The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Activities Natalya Gerasimova, Director of the Department of Doctoral Studies Gaukhar Niyetalina, teaching staff of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, PhD students, Master’s students and bachelors of “Jurisprudence” educational program of Turan university, as well as Master’s students of KazNU al-Farabi online.
