On December 07, 2023, Turan University arranged a meeting between Turan University students and Eduard Kahn, the “Coursera” Regional Business Development Manager for Central Asia.
“Coursera”, as a successfully established Global Online Platform, works on the principle of using current technological tools and is one of the leaders in the field of teaching knowledge and modern life skills.
Starting from the 2023-2024 academic year, “Coursera” has been successfully integrated into the educational programs of Turan University, offering students and the teaching staff a number of significant benefits.
Turan University has acquired:
500 licenses for undergraduate and graduate students, including:
- 317 licenses for Educational Programs of the Faculty of Economics
- 183 licenses for Educational Programs of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Arts
In the 1st semester of the academic year 2023-24, the project involves:
- 500 students,
- 30 teaching staff members (10 of them have completed five or more courses)
- 35 teaching staff members received certificates
Integration of “Coursera” Global Online Platform into the educational process of Turan University is a strategically important decision that contributes to the harmonious and comprehensive development of students, providing them tools for a successful career and continuing education in the future.
