PhD students’ internship at the University of Leipzig in Germany

From April 11 to May 11, 2024, 2nd year doctoral students of the educational program “8D03101 – Psychology” Zhanar Kuanyshevna Turniyazova and Ayazhan Muratkhanovna Shukeyeva completed a foreign scientific internship at the certified international educational center at the University of Leipzig (Germany).

 

The University of Leipzig is a public, non-profit educational institution founded in 1409. The University of Leipzig is a member of the European University Association (EUA), Utrecht Network.

 

The university is in the 480th position of the best universities in the world, according to the international QS ranking. The university is ranked among the best in arts and humanities, life sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and management, engineering and technology, as confirmed by QS rankings.

 

The overseas internship was supervised by Prof. Alain Garber, PhD in Psychology, and Prof. Konrad Reschke.

 

During the internship, doctoral students received additional academic training in areas such as scientific and organizational activities and research work as part of writing a doctoral dissertation. Doctoral students also attended lectures, seminars by Professor Konrad Reschke and received advice on research work, took part in scientific and methodological seminars, discussed research methodology and publication of articles in an international peer-reviewed scientific journal. They got acquainted with the library resources and facilities of the university.

 

Upon completion of the program, doctoral students were awarded certificates of completion of a foreign scientific internship.

Online admissions
