Meeting with Diplomat Maksat Nurmagambetov: A Unique Opportunity for IR Students

In October, the Turan UN Society team organized an important event for the students of our university. We invited a distinguished diplomat of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maksat Abdibekovich Nurmagambetov, to speak and share his many years of experience in diplomacy. For international relations students, this was a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from an expert who has represented Kazakhstan on the international stage for many years.

Maksat Abdibekovich spoke about the intricacies of diplomatic service, revealed the secrets of professional success, and gave many useful tips for those aspiring to a career in diplomacy.

One of the key moments of the meeting was the “question-answer” session, where students had the opportunity to ask their questions about international politics and diplomatic practice. It was a rare chance to speak directly with a professional, and many took the opportunity to learn more about his experience and how best to start a career in the international sphere.
