We invite you to the contest of tourist projects “Boundless Kazakhstan”

We invite you to take part in the contest of tourism projects “Boundless Kazakhstan” for students of schools (10-12 grades) and colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The contest will be held in two stages:

1 stage is held in absentia. Contestants must submit to the e-mail address of the organizing committee applications in accordance with the form. Applications include a video consisting of two parts:

• а. Video presentation of the team (team name, emblem, motto, introduction of the participants, history of the team), duration – 2 minutes.
• б. A video clip, which reveals its tourist and service activities on the theme “Tourist brand of Kazakhstan” (duration – 3 minutes).

All applications and materials of the absentee round should be sent until November 29, 2024 to the e-mail of the Senior Lecturer of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality i.shangbay@turan-edu.kz, Shanbay Іlesbek Nurlybekuly.

The second stage takes place in person at “Turan” University on December 6, 2024. Only those who have passed the first round will participate in it. Invitations are sent individually to the e-mail addresses specified in the applications.

In the second round the participants should present a presentation of the project on the theme “Boundless Kazakhstan” (5 minutes). It is desirable to use audio and video materials in the presentation.

The purpose of the contest is to attract attention to the domestic tourism and hospitality market of the country in the youth environment.

Winners of the contest are encouraged to provide discounts in the first year tuition fees at the “Turan” University for school and college graduates:

• 1st place – 15%;
• 2nd place – 10%;
• 3rd place – 5%.

There are a number of requirements for videos and presentations, which are described in the Contest Regulations. Projects from previous years are not eligible for the contest.

This competition is aimed at the applicant who believes in themselves and strives for success, who wants to get higher education at a discount due to their knowledge in the field of tourism and hospitality.
