Galiya Fayzullina, Ph.D., Associate Professor of The Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality of Turan University (Almaty) is one of the speakers of the design and educational seminar «Modern Museum Project: current forms and methods» at the Atyrau Regional Museum of Art and Decorative and Applied Arts named after Sh. Sariev (November 13-15, 2024). The second speaker is Altyn Kapalova, Director of the Department of Cultural and Humanitarian Studies at the Central Asian University, Head of the Program for the Development of Museums in Central Asia (Bishkek).

At the opening of the seminar Abil Zholamanov, the Head of the Department of Culture and Language Development of Atyrau region noted the important role of professional growth of museum staff. He also noted that the museum should use new design technologies to update the museum’s heritage. The seminar was attended by 25 employees, including from 7 regional museums of the region.

Galiya Fayzullina presented a gift to the director of the museum Tolegen Orynbasaruly, the publication of the university «Turan» – the Kazakh book of records «KInES».
