“The Role of Kazakhstan and Middle Powers in Promoting Security, Stability and Sustainable Development”

Dear colleagues! We invite you to become participants of the International Round Table on the topic “The Role of Kazakhstan and Middle Powers in Promoting Security, Stability and Sustainable Development”. The event will be held on December 12, 2024 at 14-00, at the Turan University.

 

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the concept of “middle powers” in the context of modern geopolitical changes in the world and the formation of a multipolar world order and the role of Kazakhstan in the modern system of international relations, in promoting national and collective security, stability and sustainable development of Central Asia.

 

 

The International Round Table will discuss issues in the following areas:

 

  • the place and role of middle powers in modern geopolitics: theory and practice;
  • understanding the role of middle powers in the article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev “Kazakhstan and the role of middle powers: promoting security, stability and sustainable development”;
  • the strategy of Kazakhstan as a middle power in the conditions of global turbulence;
  • new contours of multi-vector foreign policy of Kazakhstan at the present stage;
  • socio-economic and cultural aspects of the implementation of the strategy of a middle power.

 

 

The organizing committee of the Center for regional studies at the Higher school of international relations and diplomacy of the University “Turan” will include all collective and individual messages and reports in the program.
