On-site training of students of the “Restaurant and hospitality business” option

On 25 November 2024 within the discipline ‘Technology of service in restaurants and hotels’ students under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality Demeuova B.M. visited the hotel Rixos Almaty.

The guests were welcomed by the HR manager and hostess. A tour of the hotel was organised for the students: the work of the reception, catering, rooms of various categories, including the presidential suite, were demonstrated.

The hotel representatives also spoke about internship opportunities, the staff selection process and key requirements for employees.

The meeting was held in an interview format, where students received answers to all their questions. The event ended with a discussion of the prospects for further co-operation with Rixos Almaty.

The students were satisfied and expressed their gratitude for the knowledge and valuable experience gained.
