Turan’s Trumps: Performance at the Inter-University Dance Competition

The student dance organization Turan’s Trumps once again proved that creativity, perseverance, and a passion for dance can conquer any stage. This year, we participated in the JBRLA inter-university team competition hosted by AUES (AUPET) University, presenting a vibrant and creative hip-hop performance titled Grand Theft A Milli.

Our performance turned into a true spectacle: dynamic moves, flawless synchronization among team members, and an original choreography immersed the audience in an energetic dance action. The routine was inspired by street dance culture and the spirit of freedom, which we conveyed through its connection to the video game Grand Theft Auto. The judges praised our technique, creativity, and energy.

But that’s not all! A special point of pride for our team was the performance by our leader, Karina Abdulina, who won last year’s Best Solo Performance category. This year, Karina once again captivated the audience with a profound solo piece dedicated to phone and social media addiction. Her fluid movements, emotional depth, and ability to tell a story without words earned thunderous applause from the crowd.

Participating in the competition was not just a challenge but also an excellent opportunity to show that the Turan’s Trumps team is ready to grow, amaze, and inspire. We are grateful to the organizers and the audience for their support and hope our future performances will be even more dazzling!
