Guest lecture from Visit Shymkent for students of OP “Tourism” and OP “Restaurant business and hotel business”

On January 30, 2025 Within the framework of the discipline “Global Hospitality Industry”, a guest lecture from representatives of Visit Shymkent was held for students of the educational programs “Tourism” and “Restaurant and Hotel Business”.

During the meeting, the guests talked about the tourism potential of the visit centers of the cities of Kazakhstan, presented their events and shared the opportunities for the development of tourism in the region. Of particular interest was the invitation of students to the city of Shymkent with free visits to tourist sites. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, history and modern sights of the city, as well as take part in programs to attract young people to the tourism sector.

In addition, representatives of Visit Shymkent presented special student tours of the city, allowing for a deeper study of its rich heritage and infrastructure.
