A competition among schools and colleges of Almaty and Almaty Region was held at the Higher School of Law

On March 3, 2025, the Turan University Higher School of Law hosted the competition “Legal Problems of Pet Protection: Realities and Prospects”. It was attended by students from schools and colleges in Almaty and the Almaty region. The teams presented their projects and legal solutions aimed at animal protection, demonstrating a high level of training, analytical approach and interest in this issue. The participants touched upon important issues such as responsibility for animal cruelty, the need for legislative changes and the formation of a culture of humane treatment of pets. The jury noted the originality of the ideas, the reasonableness of the presentations and the practical significance of the proposed solutions. Following the results of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, and the team leaders received letters of thanks. Holding such events helps to increase the legal literacy of young people and form a responsible attitude towards animal welfare issues in society.
