EMD Protocol in Acute Conditions: Successful Seminar and New Collaboration!

On March 16th, a scientific-practical seminar, organized by the Eurasian EMDR Association of Kazakhstan with the support of the Higher School of Psychology at Turan University, successfully concluded. The seminar focused on the application of the EMD protocol in acute conditions and provided participants with a unique opportunity to master an effective tool for stabilizing emotional states in crisis situations.

 

The speakers were:

  • Olga M. Shikhova, PhD in Biological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Psychology, Turan University, family and clinical psychologist, EMDR therapist, CBT psychologist. Member of the organizing committee of the Eurasian Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (EACBP), founder of the Eurasian EMDR Association.
  • Nina N. Guseynova, Master of Psychology, clinical psychologist, certified EMDR practitioner, CBT psychologist, training psychotherapist in the method of symbol drama, brain trainer. Chairperson of the Almaty branch of the Eurasian Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (EACBP).

 

During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Turan University and the Eurasian EMDR Association of Kazakhstan. This agreement opens new avenues for collaborative work in the field of psychological science and practice.
