Facilitation Session of the Management Team of Turan University

On January 15, 2025, a facilitation session of the management team was held at Turan University in White Hall on the topic:
“The Digital Maturity Profile of Turan University: New Challenges for the Higher Education System of Kazakhstan.”  The session was aimed at discussing current issues of the university’s digital transformation, assessing the level of digital maturity, and identifying strategic directions for the digitalization of the educational process.

Currently, digitalization is a priority area of development worldwide. According to expert assessments, the “total digitalization” of Kazakhstan’s economy and society will be a leading trend until 2035. Accordingly, the “digitalization challenge” (the need to transition to the widespread use of digital technologies in education, research activities, and university management) will be one of the most significant directions.

Turan University takes modern trends into account and implements digital technologies to improve the educational process and enhance its competitiveness. In its development strategy for 2024-2029, Block 3 is defined as the “Digital Architecture of the University” and is dedicated to a comprehensive description of the university’s strategic priorities for digitalization during these years.
