Faculty Members of the Higher School of “Marketing and Logistics” Participated in an International Conference in Baku

From April 11 to 12, 2025, the city of Baku hosted the First International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Entrepreneurial Education: New Opportunities for Economic Growth”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). The conference was organized at the initiative of UNEC and Tyumen State University (Russia), with active support from UNEC’s Russian School of Economics.

 

Faculty members from the Higher School of “Marketing and Logistics” professor-researcher Mayra Turusbekovna Davletova and senior-lector Korlan Zharlykasymovna Kadyrova, took part in the conference.

 

 

The event was held in a dynamic format of panel discussions. During the sessions, representatives of universities from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Hungary, and Azerbaijan exchanged views on the following key topics:

 

  • The profession of the entrepreneur, its legitimization and development prospects;
  • The entrepreneurial ecosystem within the higher education system;
  • Entrepreneurial education and the science of entrepreneurship.

 

 

Korlan Zharlykasymovna Kadyrova was a speaker in the third panel discussion – “Entrepreneurial Education and the Science of Entrepreneurship”, where she delivered a presentation on “The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Entrepreneurial Education.” In her talk, she highlighted key directions for integrating digital technologies into the educational environment and emphasized the role of AI in shaping flexible entrepreneurial competencies for the new generation.

 

 

Conference outcomes:

 

  • The relevance of developing entrepreneurial education as a driver of sustainable economic growth was reaffirmed;
  • The need to strengthen international cooperation in research and educational practices was emphasized;
  • Special attention was given to the digital transformation of education and the role of artificial intelligence in training competitive entrepreneurs.

 

The participation of faculty from the Higher School of “Marketing and Logistics” in such international events contributes to the strengthening of academic ties, the exchange of experience, and the integration of advanced educational practices into the learning process.
