Galiya Fayzullina, PhD in History, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality at Turan University, participated in the Tabiğat Labs program as a lecturer. On May 6, 2025, the opening of the new season of the Tabiğat Labs program, which has been implemented since 2023 by a coalition of organizations in partnership with Chevron, took place in the Main Botanical Garden. The guests got acquainted with city initiatives and organizations, listened to lectures by experts, and also took part in the presentation of a book for teenagers.
One of the program’s experts was Galiya Fayzullina. She gave a lecture on «The Tree as a guide: the sacred ecology of traditions». The topic and content of the lecture corresponded to the Goals of Sustainable Development:
The format of the lecture was unusual: illustrations appeared on the screen as the lecturer spoke and the artist worked in parallel. The program included a presentation of Asset Syzdykov’s children’s book «Tales of the Apple Trees», published by TENTEK PUBLISHING. The presentation was actively attended by students of the lyceum «Turan».
