United Nations Population Fund

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which leads the operational activities of the United Nations system in the field of population, helps developing countries and countries with transition economies in search of solutions to demographic problems.

 

The Fund helps countries improve health care areas dealing with reproductive health, as well as family planning services operating on the basis of individual choice, and develop population policies aimed at supporting sustainable development efforts.

 

On April 29, a meeting was held at Turan University organized by Tayauova G.Zh., Vice-Rector for External Relations and Doctoral Studies, PhD, associate professor, Academician of the Academy of economic sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with Sergio Esperanza, Head of the Subregional Office of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) for Central Asia, located in Almaty.
