80th Anniversary of the Great Victory

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Volgograd Institute of Management – a branch of the Presidential Academy (Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication) together with the Turan University (Kazakhstan) held an International Online Olympiad dedicated to the heroic contribution of the Soviet people to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The Olympiad brought together more than 170 participants, including high school students, college and university students from Russia and Kazakhstan, including from the Volgograd and Moscow campuses of the Presidential Academy, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, Volgograd State University, Volzhsky Polytechnic Institute (branch) of VolgSTU, Turan University (Kazakhstan), Volgograd Professional College of Human Resources, Volgograd Technological College, Gymnasium No. 40 (Taraz, Kazakhstan), Multidisciplinary Gymnasium No. 41 named after A.S. Pushkin (Taraz, Kazakhstan), Gymnasium No. 27 (Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan), and schools on the Volgograd region. Turan University students of the Higher School of international relations and diplomacy were awarded: 1st degree diploma – Elizaveta Lychakova, 3rd year student of the Regional studies program; 2nd degree diploma – Cetin Alperen, 2nd year student of the International relations program.
