Students of the Educational Program «Information Systems» at SDU OPEN 2025

On May 04, 2025, 1st year students of the educational program «Information Systems» took part in the annual SDU Open 2025 sports programming Olympiad.

This Olympiad gives students from all over Kazakhstan the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in programming, algorithmic thinking, and teamwork.

5 teams of 1st year students: Sheraly Zhansaya, Toibai Kausar, Sabyrzhan Yerkezhan, Nuran Olzhas, Sailau Alimansur, Zeydilda Bakdaulet, Usen Nurdaulet, Shaqbai Ersin, Abdrakhman Esimzhan, Asilkul Diyas, Muratbayeva Ayazhan, Bakbergenov Daniel, Ospanov Rasul solved 12 algorithmic problems in 5 hours.

The Turan 3 team consisting of Nuran Olzhas, Sailau Alimansur and Zeidild Bagdaulet solved 2 tasks and took 46th place out of 62 teams.

The team leader is an assistant lecturer at the Higher School of Information Technology, Ergesh Almat Kuzembayuli.

And although the students did not enter the top three winners this time, congratulations on their participation, we wish them not to stop and only go forward!
