On April 30, 2025, the al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a round table on the topic “Participation of legal scholars of Kazakhstan in the Great Patriotic War”, organized as part of the action plan “Uly Zhenis: yerlikke tagzym, urpakka ulgi”. Akimzhanov Talgat Kurmanovich, Doctor of Law, Professor, Director of the Turan University Law Research Institute, made a meaningful report on Professor, Major General of Justice Barimbek Sarsenovich Beisenov, a participant in the Great Patriotic War and founder of the Karaganda Higher School of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs.
