Republican Subject Olympiad on the Educational Program “Jurisprudence – 2025”
On May 3, 2025, a landmark event for students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Subject Olympiad on the Law educational program, was held in Almaty on the basis of Turan University. This event brought together participants seeking to deepen their knowledge of law and demonstrate a high level of academic training.
The main purpose of the Olympiad was to identify talented students, develop their research and creative abilities, as well as improve the quality of professional training for future specialists in the field of law. The event contributed to the formation of a competitive, but at the same time supportive educational environment, in which analytical thinking is especially appreciated in the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
The Olympiad was attended by students from the country’s leading universities, whose representatives came from various regions of Kazakhstan. The participants demonstrated deep theoretical training, successfully solving practical tasks and analyzing legal cases with a high degree of logical reasoning and analyticity.
The chairman of the jury was Ruslan Zholymbetovich Baishev— a judge of the Almaty City Court, PhD.
The jury consisted of practicing specialists, recognized experts, representatives of law enforcement agencies and prominent scientists in the field of jurisprudence: Kumarova A.K. – judge of the Medeu District Court of Almaty; Zhetpisbayev E.S. – head of the IPR department of the Department of Justice of Almaty; Beyimbet M.K. – senior prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Almaly district of Almaty; Kantarbayev D.M. – deputy Head of Personnel Policy of the police department at the UE of the Medeu district of the DP of Almaty; O.T. Alimov. – Chairman of the Chamber of Legal Consultants “Center for Legal Protection and Provision of Legal Services”; Ibragimova Zh.G. – lawyer at Professional Company, Master of Law; Smagulov D.E. – legal consultant; Alayeva G.T. – Candidate of Law, Professor, licensed judicial expert at the Center for Expertise and Evaluation “Parity” LLP; Aldabergenova N.A. – PhD in Law, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Economics, Turan University; Sarina S.A. -PhD in Law, Associate Professor, arbitrator of the International Arbitration “IUS”; Koshkinbayeva A.S. – PhD, Associate Professor, member of the Tarbagatai Law Chamber; Zhugralina B.M. – PhD in Law, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Economics, Turan University; Abaikyz M. — Master of Law, Senior Lecturer at the Higher School of Economics, Turan University.
