Open Chess Tournament among Schoolchildren of Almaty «Turan Chess Cup»

An open chess tournament among schoolchildren of Almaty, the «Turan Chess Cup» was held at Turan University.

The chess tournament was held to promote chess among schoolchildren in Almaty. The chief arbiter of the tournament was Sergey Evgenyevich Kim.

Based on the results of the tournament, the following participants were awarded:

• Zhumabek Nurasyl –   1st place and a 4-year full scholarship to Turan University
• Ainakul Mukhtar – 2nd place and a 2-year scholarship to Turan University
• ldiyar Aybek   – 3rd place and a 1-year scholarship to Turan University
• Toibol Dias –   4th place and a 50% discount on the first year of tuition at Turan University Oplanchuk Erika  – best result among female participants and scholarship to Turan University
