New Era

A spiritual rebirth: how the Shisai dance organization’s annual concert unfolded.

The evening of May 16 will remain in the hearts of every spectator for a long time. In the auditorium, those who live through dance, friendship, and unity gathered together. The annual concert, symbolically titled “New Era”, became not just the final point of another chapter—it marked the beginning of a new one, the dawn of a new era.

This event encompassed everything: the energy of the stage, tears of joy, pride in the journey taken, and trembling anticipation for what lies ahead. But one moment in particular stood out and became historic for the entire organization: for the first time in its two-year existence, a solemn and emotional leadership transition took place.

Amid thunderous applause, Nurullaeva Lunara and Zhandybaeva Dilnaz—the two who had long been the heart and driving force of the team—passed on their leadership to the next generation.

The new head of the organization is Gabdugalieva Zhasmin 242(4), with Amangeldinova Shyrailym 231(4) taking the role of co-leader.

This was more than just a transfer of responsibilities—it was an act of trust, love, and faith in the continuation of what has been started.

The concert unfolded in an atmosphere of true celebration, where every performance felt like a manifesto of freedom, style, and self-expression. The dancers showcased not only their technical skill but also their genuine emotions, which they shared with the audience wholeheartedly.

A special highlight of the evening was the presence of friends and partners from other universities:

  • MDC (UIB)
  • Shake (UIB)
  • WayD (UIB)
  • AIDAI (Abai University)
  • As well as organizations from Turan University – Turan’s Trumps and Muslab.

Special thanks go to leader of CYA (The Committee on Youth Affairs) Mansur Alimov for his contribution and ongoing support in developing the participants throughout this journey.

“New Era” is more than just a name. It is a meaning, a spirit. It is a recognition that everything that has been achieved so far does not end—it lives on in new people, new ideas, new movements. This era promises to be bright, powerful, and truly inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of this evening. Thank you to those who built, those who continue, and those who are just joining.

Dance is more than art. It is a language spoken by the heart. And last night, our heart spoke the most important truth: We are together. And we go on.
