Introductory Practical Training of Students from the Higher School of Law Almaty, May 26, 2025
On May 26, 2025, students of the Higher School of Law at “Turan” University, enrolled in the following academic programs:
- 241(4)-1,2,3,4 – “Jurisprudence”
- 241(4) – “Legal Support of Business (Corporate Lawyer)”
- 241(4) – “International Law”
Underwent introductory practical training at the Police Department of the Bostandyk District in Almaty. During the training, students became familiar with the organization of work within internal affairs bodies, the structure of the district police department, and the activities of its various divisions. Special attention was given to investigative and operational procedures, the process of registering statements and reports, and maintaining public order.The students showed particular interest in a practical session conducted by the forensics department staff. The future lawyers were shown a forensic kit used for crime scene inspections and were introduced to the process of fingerprint collection. They observed firsthand how traces are documented, evidence is gathered, and other elements of forensic techniques are applied. Such events contribute to the professional orientation of students, broaden their understanding of the law enforcement system, and deepen the theoretical knowledge they have acquired.
