Cooperation in Action: Professor Akimzhanov T.K. from “Turan” University participated in the Dissertation Council and Graduation Ceremony at the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On May 30–31, 2025, Dr. Talgat Kurmanovich Akimzhanov — Director of the Research Institute of Law, Professor of the Higher School of Law at “Turan” University, Doctor of Law, and Honored Employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan — took part in the work of the Dissertation Council of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev. His participation was by official written invitation from the Academy’s leadership.

Additionally, on May 31, at the invitation of the Head of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev, Police Major General A.D. Darménov, Professor Akimzhanov T.K. participated in the formal graduation ceremony for young specialists of the Academy, where he took part in presenting their certificates.

Among the participants of both the Dissertation Council and the graduation ceremony was also a partner of “Turan” University — Professor V.I. Seliverstov, Doctor of Law, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, and Professor at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty of Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University. “Turan” University and MSU have an official cooperation agreement.

Thanks to the ongoing joint efforts, a strong partnership has been established between “Turan” University and the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev. This collaboration includes joint research initiatives and doctoral training, contributing significantly to the development of legal education in Kazakhstan and the exchange of academic expertise.
