Welcome to Turan 2025

On September 2 and 3, our university hosted a special event for first-year students. Rector Alshanov Rakhman warmly welcomed the newcomers, wishing them success in the academic year ahead. As part of the event, the winners of the annual “Turan Umiti” competition were awarded three- and four-year educational grants, which were personally presented by the rector.

The celebration was given a creative spirit by the student organization Muslab, who performed the university anthem. First-year students also had the chance to meet vice-rectors, heads of schools, deans of faculties, and directors of various departments.

The program included an introduction to student life at the university as well as a meeting with the president of the student self-government. After the main part of the event, each department organized gatherings and tours for their students.

Spanning two days, the event marked an important beginning of the academic journey for our first-year students.

We wish them success, inspiration, and the confidence to move toward their goals together with Turan University!
