Opening of the Center for Continuing Education of Lawyers at Turan University

On September 25, Turan University hosted the official opening ceremony of the Center for Continuing Education of Lawyers. The new Center, accredited by the Republican Bar Association, has been established to provide advanced training programs for legal professionals.

 

The main purpose of the Center is to offer lawyers access to modern educational programs that reflect the latest changes in legislation and meet the requirements of the professional community. The courses will focus not only on deepening theoretical knowledge but also on developing practical skills essential for everyday legal practice.

 

In his welcoming speech, the Rector of Turan University emphasized the importance of the Center for the entire legal community and highlighted the university’s commitment to advancing high-quality and relevant education. He expressed confidence that the Center will become a platform for professional growth, knowledge exchange, and strengthening the legal system of Kazakhstan.

 

 

The opening ceremony was attended by leading representatives of legal science and practice, including:

 

  • Anuar Kurmanbayuly Tugel — Coordinator of the Center, Associate Professor of the Higher School of Law, PhD in Law;
  • Aydyn Zholshievich Bikebayev — Chairman of the Republican Bar Association;
  • Sergey Mikhailovich Slesarev — Director of “RBS Ltd” law firm, lawyer, PhD in History;
  • Sergey Vasilyevich Sizinzev — Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Republican Bar Association;
  • Farkhad Sergeyevich Karagusov — Doctor of Law, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Private Law, Caspian University;
  • Gulnaz Tursunovna Alayeva — Professor of the Higher School of Law;
  • Talgat Kurmanovich Akimzhanov — Research Professor of the Higher School of Law.

 

The Center will implement both national programs in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international projects with the participation of foreign experts. Training formats will include online courses, offline seminars at the “Tau Turan” educational and recreational complex, as well as joint events with the Ministry of Justice and the Republican Bar Association.

 

The opening of the Center marks an important milestone in the development of legal education and reinforces the role of Turan University as a leading educational and research hub in Kazakhstan.
