How it Was: A Meeting with Olessya Kolesnichenko

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Turan University, as part of the open events for marketers, another meeting of the Marketers’ Club was held with the support of the Kazakhstan Marketing Association.

During the meeting, participants discussed the power of a book as a tool for brand promotion. The speaker was Olessya Kolesnichenko — an expert in PR and marketing communications, Director of the PR Guide agency, author of three business books, and consultant for international brands.

Olessya shared why a book can become a long-term brand asset that works for years, building trust, expertise, and new opportunities for its author.

She emphasized that writing a book requires discipline — from idea to publication, it’s a project that needs careful planning and commitment. A book may not always bring immediate financial profit, but it always pays off in another way — through personal brand growth, audience recognition, and new clients.

During the session, participants learned:

  • how a book strengthens a professional’s positioning;
  • which native ways of brand integration can be used within its pages;
  • how to start the author’s journey — from idea and structure to the first draft.

Olessya’s main advice: “Start today. If you don’t put your experience into words, the world will never know what you could teach others.”

Thank you for being with us — see you at the next events of the Marketing Club!
