At the site of the V International Financial Security Olympiad, which took place from September 27 to October 4, 2025, on the territory of the Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation), teachers – experts from ISI member universities were given the opportunity to improve their qualifications through the additional program “Combating the Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds and the Financing of Terrorism in the Context of Digital Transformation.”
Teachers of the Higher School of Finance and Accounting, Markelova M.A. and Musakhanova N., completed training on such key topics as: “Priorities and promising areas for the development of control (supervisory) activities in the field of AML/CFT”, “Implementing AML/CFT/FT Requirements in the Development of Digital Technologies.” These topics explored countering cybercrime threats, combating digital terrorism, ML/FT risks when using virtual assets, and identifying suspicious transactions.
Active participation was taken in practical training sessions using the Grafus training system on AML/CFT subjects (case studies).
Our instructors participated in roundtable discussions organized by the EAG.
Participation in the 23rd meeting of the International Network Institute Council on AML/CFT was a significant event.
Upon completion of the course, participants received Certificates of Completion from the International Training and Methodological Center for Financial Monitoring.
