A roundtable on “Youth Against Corruption” was held at the Higher School of Law of Turan University within the framework of the “Adal Urpaq” project

On October 2, 2025, a round table on the topic “Youth against corruption” was held at the Higher School of Economics of Turan University as part of the Adal Ұ rpa қ project. The event was aimed at the formation of an anti-corruption culture, the development of civic responsibility and an active position of youth.

 

 

High-level speakers took part in the discussion:

 

  • Natalya Sergeevna Gerasimova – Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Activities, expert of the Public Council of Almaty;
  • Karlygash Asylkhanovna Dzhumabaeva – Director of the Higher School of Law, Doctor PhD;
  • Serik Esmatov – deputy of Maslikhat, Almaty;
  • Aigul Shopshekbaevna Shopshekbaeva – retired police colonel;
  • Beknur Seytzhanovich Kisikov – President of the Kazakhstan Franchise Association, President of the Eurasian Association, member of the Public Council;
  • Almat Zhanabaevich Adilbaev – expert of the Public Council, member of the monitoring group, actor.

 

 

Students of the Jurisprudence educational program took an active part in the discussion, asked topical questions and shared their views on the role of youth in combating corruption.

Following the round table, the participants noted the importance of forming the principles of honesty, justice and intolerance to corruption among students. The event was a significant step in strengthening the culture of integrity and active citizenship among young people.
