Congratulations to Nurgisa Zhylkybayevich Kusherov, senior lecturer at the High School of International Relations and Diplomacy, on winning the competition for the best expert paper!

The Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KISI) has announced the results of the Young Experts Support Program “New Horizons for Economic and Social Development of Kazakhstan’s Regions”. The KISI project aims to support young domestic experts in conducting research in the social sciences and developing their competitiveness in the expert and research fields. The goal of the Program is to support talented young experts to expand the expert community with new personnel and innovative ideas.

The program ran from April 7 to May 30, 2025, and the results were announced in September 2025.

Following a competitive selection process, the top 10 scientific papers were selected from 78 applications. They demonstrated a high level of analysis, the relevance of the topic, and a professional approach to research. Each of the 10 winners will receive a grant from KISI for the further implementation of their project.
