Turan University has signed an agreement with International Vision University (North Macedonia) to implement a double-degree program

On 29 October 2025, Turan University hosted an official meeting with a delegation from International Vision University (Gostivar, Republic of North Macedonia), during which an agreement was signed to implement a joint double degree program.

 

The delegation included:

 

  • Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can – Rector;
  • Prof. Dr. Fadil Hodza – Founding Rector;
  • Prof. Dr. Abdylmexhit Nuredini – Vice Rector for Education and Academic Planning;
  • Dr. Serkan Subashi – International Coordinator;
  • Arif Çalkayış – Coordinator for Scientific Research and Sustainable Development;
  • Recep Tursun – Director of the Professional Education Association;
  • Osman Toker – Director of OSTOM Healthcare and Education Company.

 

The program covers Master’s studies in Law and a PhD in Clinical Psychology, providing students with the opportunity to study at both universities with mutual recognition of credits (ECTS), joint academic supervision, and the possibility of receiving two internationally recognized diplomas upon completion of all academic requirements.

 

During the meeting, the parties also discussed further areas of cooperation, including student, faculty, and administrative staff exchange; joint scientific research and publications; organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences; as well as participation in international grant initiatives.

 

The signing of this agreement marks an important milestone in the development of Turan University’s international partnerships, opening new opportunities for academic mobility and professional growth of students, while strengthening the university’s position in the global educational space.
