On November 3, 2025, a guest lecture titled “Java Development Starter Pack: How to Become a Developer in Kazakhstan” was held in room 608 for 2nd-year students of the Information Systems and Intelligent Robotics programs.
The lecture was delivered by Arsen Ulykbekov, Java Developer at Beeline. During the session, the speaker discussed the essential tools, libraries, and frameworks for beginner programmers, the principles of building corporate systems, and career opportunities in the software development industry.
After the lecture, students showed great interest in the topic of professional growth in Java development and actively engaged in discussion. They asked questions about the technologies used at Beeline, career progression paths, and internship opportunities for students. Many were interested in where to start learning Java, how to avoid common beginner mistakes, how to build a strong portfolio, and what types of projects are most useful for gaining hands-on experience. Students also inquired about the most in-demand frameworks and tools, how the interview process works in IT companies, and which personal qualities are key to succeeding as a software engineer.
