The team of the “Tourism” educational program took 3rd place at the 8th International Olympiad in Techniques and Tactics of Active Tourism

From November 19 to 22, the Turan University “Tourism” educational program team took part in the 8th International Olympiad in Techniques and Tactics of Active Tourism, held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana.

Our university was represented by 4th-year student and team captain Alexander Belousov, as well as 2nd-year students Mansiya Arstanbekova, Guzal Ilakhunova, Viktoria Kalinina, and Amirdin Amerbakiev.

Eleven teams from various universities across the country competed in sports orienteering, overcoming simulated mountain obstacles, and presenting their projects. Based on the results of all stages, our team took 3rd place.
