“Turanbike” Theatrical Performance Held at Turan University

On November 14, the student organization Teart of Turan University presented a unique cultural event the theatrical performance “Turanbike.” This production is considered one of the most significant creative projects carried out by the university’s artistic team this year.

The event was attended by honored guests, including the Rector of Turan University, the university administration, students, and representatives of several higher education institutions in Almaty. Delegations from various universities watched the performance with great interest and highly appreciated the professional approach of Turan’s students to theatrical art.

“Turanbike” is one of the notable works of world classical literature. The university’s theatre studio reinterpreted this piece in a contemporary way and adapted it to the Kazakh cultural context, offering the audience a performance enriched with national elements. The students’ acting skills, musical accompaniment, costumes, and stage design impressed the audience.

The theatre organization of our university prepares productions of various genres every year and plays an important role in developing the creative abilities of students. Young actors of the club work in collaboration with professionals, contributing to the cultural life of the university. In addition, the student organization Teart actively participates not only in university activities but also in citywide cultural projects.

At the end of the evening, the guests expressed their gratitude to the students for their work and shared their impressions of the high quality of the production. The Rector of the university praised the students’ efforts and expressed readiness to continue supporting creative projects in the future.
