International Programming Olympiad «Proggy-Buggy Contest 2025»

On November 22, 2025, the international programming Olympiad «PROGGY-BUGGY CONTEST 2025» was held at Turan University, organized by the international IT company DataArt and the Higher School of Information Technology.

 

PROGGY-BUGGY TRAVEL CONTEST is an international olympiad for programmers, which has been attended by more than 10 thousand people from 60 countries over the past 10 years. Every year, participants from Kazakhstan take prizes.

 

The Olympiad was attended by schoolchildren, students, developers, testers and people who have an idea how programs are written. The participants had only 42 minutes to solve 13 tasks.

 

This year, 684 teams from 37 countries took part in the international programming competition PROGGY-BUGGY CONTEST 2025, of which 13 teams participated offline at Turan University.

 

The «One_more_line» team from Kazakhstan, consisting of Oleg Merezhko, Lev Belousov and Aspandiyarov Diaz, took 3rd place in the «Supeheros» category (winners of previous contests). And the «Master_ka4ka» team consisting of Torekeldi Abilmansur, Perdebai Ramazan and Syrgabaev Nurislam showed the best results among offline participants in Almaty and received a prize from DataArt.
