Turan University Continues to Expand Its International Cooperation!
On November 21, 2025, Turan University hosted an important meeting with representatives of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). The event was organized by the Higher School of Marketing and Logistics.
The UNEC delegation included:
- Prof. Mansur Barkhudarov – Director of the Russian School of Economics;
- Prof. Leyla Hajieva – Deputy Director of the Russian School of Economics;
- Fuad Gasymov – Director of the Center for Continuing Education;
- Rena Huseynova – Head of the Department for Coordination and Organization of Research Centers at UNEC;
- Prof. Azer Garayev – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Finance.
Turan University was represented by:
- Zh. Tayauova – Vice-Rector for External Relations and Doctoral Studies, PhD, Associate Professor, Academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- T. Davletova – Director of the Higher School of Marketing and Logistics;
- V. Selezneva – Director of the Higher School of Finance and Accounting;
- Gulnash Askhat – Head of International Cooperation at Turan University;
- A. Bodaubaeva, K. Zh. Kadyrova – lecturers at the Higher School of Marketing and Logistics.
Key topics of discussion:
- expanding academic mobility for students and faculty;
- developing joint research projects and academic initiatives;
- discussing double-degree program opportunities;
- creating new forms of strategic partnership between the universities.
Special attention was given to the development of an international educational environment, experience exchange, and the formation of long-term collaboration between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Such meetings strengthen academic bridges between our countries and open new opportunities for youth, scientific development, and educational programs.
