Congratulations to the students on the successful completion of the Mini Turan Model United Nations 2025!

The Graduate school of international relations and diplomacy, under the leadership of director Zh. Agybay, traditionally held a specialized conference for students of the “International Relations” and “Regional Studies” programs, Mini Turan Model United Nations 2025. The 2025 conference was dedicated to discussing current issues in global politics and international security.

Vlastimil Samek, representative of the UN Department of global communications in Kazakhstan, attended the opening of the conference. He praised the students’ active participation in discussing the role of the UN in addressing global and regional issues. Senior students also shared their experiences participating in the game with the debutant delegates.

The Model UN is a unique educational platform that allows students to master the art of diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking. It helps develop critical thinking and leadership skills, deepen their understanding of the structure of international relations, and learn how to find compromises to resolve global problems. Participation in such conferences provides valuable professional experience and expands the network of international contacts necessary for a successful career.
