A substantive guest lecture on the topic “Crimes Among Adolescents and Youth: Causes, Responsibility, and Preventive Measures” was held at the Higher School of Law of Turan University within the framework of the “Law and Order” ideology. The event was organized with the participation of representatives of the Almaty City Prosecutor’s Office and the Police Department of the Almaly District of Almaty.

During the lecture, students were presented with real-life cases based on criminal case materials, as well as video materials from the Zhastarmen project developed by the Almaty City Prosecutor’s Office.

The project is aimed at increasing the legal awareness of young people and preventing offenses. Practical examples allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the consequences of criminal behavior and the importance of early prevention. In addition, the lecture thoroughly addressed the main causes of juvenile delinquency, the specific features of legal responsibility of minors, work with at-risk groups, and modern methods of crime prevention.

The Higher School of Law of Turan University will continue to implement educational and preventive initiatives aimed at enhancing the legal culture of youth and protecting them from the negative influence of the criminal environment.
