Guest lectures by Ph.D. Fayzullina G.Sh. in universities of Kazakhstan

Associate Professor of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality of Turan University, Candidate of Historical Sciences Fayzullina G.Sh., being the head of the applied project «Historical and cultural heritage and branding of territories in the field of tourism and hospitality», conducted guest lectures within the framework of international winter schools in universities of Kazakhstan.

In January 2026, at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the International Winter School of Ethnologists «Actual Problems of Ethnology (Socio-cultural Anthropology): history and modernity» Fayzullina G.Sh. gave a lecture on «Museum and ethnographic emphasis in territorial branding». In February 2026, within the framework of the International Winter School «Auezov University-2026» on the topic: «Preservation, protection and management of the world historical and cultural heritage» Galiya Shauketovna had a lecture «Historical and cultural heritage as a resource for branding territories».

The lectures received good feedback from the participants of the Winter Schools. The material presented in the lectures was tested in the framework of the disciplines «Branding of territories» (bachelor’s degree, ЕР «Management of Tourism and Hospitality Innovations») and «Branding of tourist attractions» (Master’s degree, ЕР «Tourism») at the University of Turan.
