Turan University hosted the Open Day for the “Public and Local Administration” educational program

On 25 February 2026, Turan University (White Hall) held an Open Day for the “State and Local Administration” educational program. The event was organized as a career guidance meeting for school students and college students from Almaty and focused on career pathways in public administration, key competencies, and professional development opportunities.

As part of the program, guest speakers delivered presentations representing the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and the Academy of State Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participants showed particular interest in the interactive Q&A session, where school students asked questions about admission, the specifics of the learning process, and career prospects in the public and quasi-public sectors.

A separate highlight of the event was an Olympiad (test-based) on public and local administration for school students and college students. Around 80 participants took part in the Olympiad. Based on the results of the competition tasks, winners and prize-winners were determined.
