“Turan” University shares the experience of development of debate movement

On September 6, on the initiative of the REMC for AE of the MES RK, a discussion meeting was held with the stakeholders of the debate movement. Vice-rector Natalya Gerassimova spoke about the role of universities in the development of the debate movement on the example of “Turan” University. There have been held 180 tournaments and provided training grants and discounts for more than 150 schoolchildren and students by the activity of the debate club of the “Turan” University for more than 12 years.

The relevance of the debate movement is growing every year as both the state and society in the modern world need specialists who have not only deep knowledge and professional skills, but also certain personal qualities that are formed through participation in debates.
