Lecturers of the Department «Tourism and Service» and students of the Department «Journalism and Translation» at the exhibition «Sheber»

In November, everyone has the opportunity to visit the exhibition «Sheber», organized by the Union of Artisans of Kazakhstan in two halls of the A.Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The topics of ethnography, museum, creativity, education and tourism converged in one place. Teachers and students of the departments «Tourism and Service» and «Journalism and Translation» not only looked at the exhibits, but also participated in the educational filming, in the preparation of material for the «Turan challenge» channel. Saule Tastulekova professionally supervised the actions of students, Galiya Fayzullina organized shooting opportunities in the museum and an author’s tour from Aizhan Bekkulova, Chairman of the Union of Artisans of Kazakhstan, WCC-APR Adviser & Honorary Member. She talked not only about the craftsmen who created the masterpieces of the exhibition, and these are the works of the winners of 10 competitions, but also about the history of the creation of objects, shared knowledge about the traditions and customs of the Kazakhs. The competition has the nominations «Brand of Kazakhstan» and «Souvenir of Kazakhstan», which is of interest in terms of visual education of students in a number of disciplines.
