On November 30, 2021, the opening of the IX International Film Festival of Student and Debut Films “Bastau” took place.

A series of creative meetings and screenings took place within the framework of the film festival. Special master classes for students were held in the cinema hall of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Zhurgenov. First and second year students of the Graduate school “Turan Film Academy” also attended the meetings.
