Magzum Mirzagaliyev, a graduate of Turan University, headed Kazmunaygas

Ex-Adviser to the President Magzum Mirzagaliyev has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the national company KazMunayGas.

According to the official websites, by the decision of the Board of JSC “Samruk-Kazyna” in coordination with the Presidential Administration and the Government, Magzum Mirzagaliyev was appointed Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “KazMunayGas”.

On April 14, Mirzagaliyev was dismissed from the post of Adviser to the President, where he worked for exactly three months. He also held the position of Minister of Energy (from September 9, 2021 to January 13, 2022), later the position of Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources in Kazakhstan.
